Cherry Trees School enjoyed a visit from Wolves goalkeepers,Wayne Hennessey, Dorus De Vries and Aaron McCarey to celebrate the arrival of their new equipment which has been funded by Wolves Aid.
The school, located in Wombourne, provides education for children aged 2-11 who have a range of special needs.
A £5,000 Wolves Aid Grant, funded the completion of a Trimtrail which includes a jelly board, tread mill and zigzag beam. The money also purchased eight tricycles and go-karts which the children took great delight showing to the players.
This new equipment enables the children to develop with physical and sensory activity, as well as bringing enjoyment in a safe and controlled environment.
Wayne really enjoyed his visit to the school: "It was a joy to see this amazing equipment bring a smile to the children’s faces. Wolves Aid makes a fantastic difference to lives of people in and around Wolverhampton."
Dorus added: "The school had great facilities and it was wonderful to see the children enjoying them."
