You are here: Wolves Aid > Application Criteria
Wolves Aid has a long history of supporting community projects within the city and its surrounding areas, focuses on organisations or iniatives that have got themselves ‘off the ground’ and are now looking for the funding needed to really make a difference within their area of influence.
Most funding is geared to helping organizations that support the positive development of community life through encouraging social inclusion amongst the disadvantaged and disabled as well as promoting family life and the positive development of children. Areas of support so far have included; physical and learning disabilities, physical and mental health plus social challenge and deprivation.
Wolves Aid prefers to deal with registered charities but is happy to consider applications from other ‘not for profit’ organisations operating with the community’s interests in mind.
Funding is generally not available for national charities or large, established fund-raising bodies
