General Information

The ‘Dusk/ Twilight/ Midnight League’ is a social inclusion project, funded by Cannock Chase Community Safety Partnership, and is designed to provide a safe , fun and friendly environment for boys, girls, teenagers and young men and women to participate in football related activities and educational workshops relating to issues such as drug awareness, personal health and hygiene and the dangers of alcohol abuse.

It is an evening scheme run between the hours of 5.30pm and midnight – and tackles the issues of crime and social exclusion in and around the Wolverhampton area. It has received the backing of Staffordshire Police, local youth workers and local community groups all of whom play a part in helping the Wolves Community Trust target and recruit players.

The leagues have different target age groups ranging from 8 to 21 years. The ‘Dusk League’ targets school years 5, 6 and 7. The Twilight League’ targets school years 8 through to 11 and the ‘Midnight League’ targets young people up to the age of 21.
