London Wolves Donation

On Saturday 10th December, during the half time interval V's Fulham, London Wolves supporters club presented Wolves Community Trust with a donation to support Wolves Women.

Roy Eagles and Dave Hodges from London Wolves Supporters Club were joined on the Molineux turf by Wolves Women Manager Tim Dudding and players Jen Anslow and Clare Hakeman to make the presentation.

The Supporters' Club was established in 1966, and London-based Wolves fans have been making the long journey to Molineux ever since. It seems appropriate then that London Wolves are sponsoring Wolves Women's away travel for the season. Transport is very costly, so the sponsorship has been greatly appreciated. The girls usually travel by minibus, but thanks to London Wolves will have the luxury of coach travel to long away games this season.

London Wolves have been involved with Wolves Women for the last few seasons, they were guest of honour at last season's presentation evening and often tie in a men's home game with a visit to Hednesford to watch the Women play in on a Sunday afternoon.

Wolves Community Trust support Wolves Girls and Women with the development of their 6 female teams, over 120 players are involved, giving talented females from across the city the opportunity to represent the football club.
